Jev tutorial
Goal: understand Jev as a decision model, try it live, then call the hosted API — without treating it like a chat LLM.
1. Run a free decision
Open the homepage playground or /tools. Pick Support Triage, edit the message, hit Run Jev — no signup for the anonymous trial.
Open playground →2. Learn the three primitives
Choice picks a label, Score places an ordered level, Noul returns a calibrated yes/no probability. These are the only shapes you need for most gates.
Read primitives →3. Create a jv_live_ key
Sign in, buy a small prepaid pack if needed, create an API key on Account. Copy it once into JEV_API_KEY.
Get API key →4. Call /api/v1/decide
POST state + questions. Branch on typed answers in your worker. Mirror the same questions you tested in the playground.
API guide →5. Ship a use case
Start from a use-case page (triage, moderation, agent safety) so criteria stay honest and you know when not to use Jev.
