The Jev API

The Jev API on this host is a single decide surface: POST /api/v1/decide. You send state plus typed questions; you get structured answers your code can branch on — no prose parsing, no schema guesswork.

Endpoint & auth

POST https://jevtypesafe.org/api/v1/decide with Authorization: Bearer jv_live_… and Content-Type: application/json. Official TypeSafe uses a different host and key type (api.typesafe.ai) — do not mix.

Request shape

Provide state (string or structured text your app already has) and a questions map. Each question declares type choice, score, or noul, plus instructions/criteria as needed. Multiple questions share one round trip.

Response shape

Answers are typed under an answers object: .choice keys, .score numbers, .noul probabilities, plus usage. Because types are fixed by your request, production code uses plain if / switch — not regex on assistant text.

Pricing on this host

Prepaid packs meter input tokens. Output tokens are free under our metering. Batching several questions into one call is usually cheaper than many generative chat completions for the same labels.

FAQ

What is the Jev API?
A decide API that returns typed Choice / Score / Noul answers for a state and questions map — built for software branches, not chat UIs.
Where is the full API guide?
See /docs/api/ for headers, product shortcuts, batch, and examples. /jev-examples/ has minimal runnable snippets.
