Official project materials emphasize open weights; Jev on this site remains a closed upstream API we meter for you.
What Laya is
Laya targets the same job family as Jev: given a state and typed questions, return decisions your code can branch on — not open-ended chat. The community Laya site documents local Router-style usage, benchmarks against published Jev figures, and a hosted path when you do not want to operate GPUs. Numbers and claims on that host should be verified against its README / benchmarks pages; this page only orients you before you leave.
